According to Sheana Ahlqvist, lead UX researcher at Ph.D. Insights, a user research agency, 90% of the time we merely absorb the material, 9% of the time we engage with content (like it, share it), and only 1% of the time we really share something.’

According to another variant of this rule, just 1% of internet users actively interact and publish content in a community.

To Alex Levin, co-founder of Brooklyn-based design studio L+R, “liking and favoriting is like saying “bless you.” What a nice gesture that doesn’t cost a lot of money.”
